Te Ahu a Turanga Noho Marae
Description:
In week 7, we had an overnight stay at the local Marae in Woodville. We were immersed in Maori culture and participated in a range of activities. We set two goals to focus on during our stay.
Big Idea:
1. Did you achieve your goals? How do you know? I have achieved my goals. I know I have because I was quiet during the welcome, and served the lunch sensibly ready for the day.
2. What are you most proud of from the marae stay and why? I was most proud of being in the pit when I was weaving because I knew I was in the right path of the learning pit.
3. What challenged you the most and why? What challenged me the most was sleeping in the wharenui because there was a lot of noise.

translation is when an object slides in any direction;
rotation is when an object is turned around a central point;
reflection is when an object is flipped and has a line of symmetry.
Big Idea:
Evaluation:
I think that I did a good job on my car badge. But I think I should of been a bit faster so I don't waste the last minutes in my geometry group. If I were to do it again I would make easy badge so I don't run out of time.
Feedback/Feedforwad:
You have done a very nice picture and have been able to explain to me very well translation, rotation and reflection. Next time you could do a video to show the visual learners. Georgia
